This notice explains how Plenitude Capital Limited ("Plenitude FX", "we") collects and uses personal data through plenitudefx.com, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.
Who we are
Plenitude Capital Limited is a private limited company incorporated in Kenya under the Companies Act, 2015, company number PVT-EY133M67. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at connect@plenitudefx.com.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and the content of your message.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you asked us to, to tell you when Plenitude FX launches. We rely on your consent for launch updates and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries for everything else.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run this website and handle email, acting on our instructions. Some of these providers may store data outside Kenya. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the Data Protection Act requires for cross-border transfers.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a regulator.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Launch-update details are kept until we launch or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within the period the law sets.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. We limit access to personal data to the people who need it to respond to you.
